Empowering Community Members

Our community house at Lyttelton continues to aid and strengthen the community by providing social, economic, health and educational support to our people. We aim to provide a welcoming and peaceful space that is nurturing, inclusive and co-creative.

Lyttelton Community House is a Charitable Trust, that provides a place to meet, a weekly shared meal, facilitates community activities such as coffee mornings and education and encourages the participation of local people to support each other and share knowledge.

The whare at Lyttelton Community House is a welcoming and nurturing space, that is based on inclusiveness, kindness, courtesy, respect and cooperation. Our Kaupapa is to support, uplift and empower our community members through a variety of services and activities available.
